Shining and Scratch Removal of the Chrome Back

One thing I have found is that while apple's habit of putting chrome on everything makes some of there products look nice unfortunatly that never lasts as the chrome backing of there devices fall prey to all kinds of scratches from normal every day use, no matter how careful you are.

My good friend Dylan the Analog Man Recently gave me his old 3rd generation iPod Nano and as all iPods eventually go, this had become maked to the point you couldnt see any of the writing on the back of the device any more as you will see here

All you need to make it look closer to new is some normal household metal polish such as Brasso and use a lint free cloth, dabbing a little on the cloth rub hard at the scratches you may need to do this for a while however.

My iPod looked like this after about 15 minutes of treatment

And there you go! Now you can see it is a 8GB iPod!

Enjoy!
