Not too much has gone on the past few days really so I have had not much to type, Lasharus has returned from his holiday in South America which is awesome missed that son of a bitch. Kind of odd really you don’t realise how much you will miss something or someone until there actually gone. Have not had the chance to speak to him yet and he is on at odd times I am assuming due to his body clock adjusting to US time zones and now he has to get his body clock back to GMT+1 hehe.

But in all fairness I am the sort to let someone get settled before anything else I mean at least giving them like 24 hours to put there shit down, catch up with the essentials and get situated, maybe that’s just me but I cant take it when I get pestered by a bunch of people after getting back from somewhere, one or two is fine but more gets on my nerves.

Working some more on the site, and with my spelling and grammar so bad, I decided it would be the smart thing to type up my content into a word processor first spell and grammar check it then post it that should get most of it corrected. If anyone is interested (which I doubt) what word processor I use well on my desktop I have yet to install one come to think of it… but on my laptop I use Microsoft Works 9. I can hear you all already gasping and throwing your drinks at your monitor “WHY WORKS?!?! WHY NOT OFFICE OR OPEN OFFICE?!”

Well ill explain why. One good reason is it’s free for my HP G60 laptop, the BIOS has the OEM Licence key so when I install works its pre-activated. Now I know and am well aware of open office being free also and office having a free version but really nether suit me well… Open office is nice but bloated I feel maybe its due to the fact it runs off Java, I am not sure but there we go it feels too bloated and slow. Next we got Microsoft office.

Sure they got a free and paid for version but the free one has Microsoft product advertisements in it… No thanks I don’t want to be harassed about the “Bing” search engine or there latest mice or keyboards or any of that crap (Not that there hardware is bad my desktop has been using the same Microsoft keyboard for 2 years and my laptops external mouse I use sometimes is also Microsoft… which reminds me must add that to the specs page).

Well you see there are only 3 things I ever use in office and 2 of those are rare: Word, Excel and Access.
That’s fairly much all Works 9 has other than a few extra little bits here and there and is compatible with Open office and Office formats! It also doesn’t feel bloated a little basic maybe it does miss some of the really fancy features of Office and the like but sometimes less is more and to me this is where this happens to be the case… and thinking about it now this has got WAY off topic although this blog is about me and my brain farts so in the words of Lasharus “Deal with it”.

I've been meaning to get stuck into the Xbox stuff but that means I possibly got to get the correct screwdriver bits and the like as I am having a hard time remembering what exactly I have done inside there and one of the things I did do I had to undo because the controller broke (Integrated wireless Madcatz controller receiver with switch to enable and disable the controller port 1.

Started making some headway with the whole Posten thing and the missing Netbook which was awesome until I discovered my friend may have lost the receipt for the package and that is kind of the make or break thing of the investigation when I finally got there arm twisted enough to get both post offices involved. That was disheartening to say the least but my friend is going to ask his family about the documentation and such and see if we can salvage the situation because he paid out 100 euros to send that MG2 Netbook to me as well as go out on personal trips to get the ok as his father is in politics my friend has many restrictions and red tape for even the simplest things at times.

Right that’s enough rambling on time to run this through the checker and get it posted.
